About the role
Our client, a leading digital e-commerce agency specializing in innovative solutions, is currently in search of a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B Architect to join the Salesforce Commerce squad.
Responsibilities
- 🚀 Design and architect scalable, high-performance B2B e-commerce solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
- 🚀 Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers, ensuring the implementation of best practices and adherence to architectural standards. Collaborate closely with project managers and clients to comprehend business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- 🚀 While primary client communication occurs through project manager roles, the Architect role may be essential in client meetings where a high technical involvement is needed to assist non-technical roles in explaining complex technical solutions and implementations.
- 🚀 Create tailored solutions, integrations, and extensions to meet specific client needs using SFCC.
- 🚀 Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal functionality and an improved user experience.
- 🚀 Develop technical documentation, guidelines, and best practices for development and implementation.
- 🚀 Assure the quality of project implementations through hands-on code reviews.
- 🚀 Actively participate in the development of high-level projects.
Requirements
- ✅ 3+ years of Salesforce.com development experience / Salesforce.com 401 Developer or App Builder.
- ✅ 2-3 years of experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud Solution.
- ✅ Hands on B2B Commerce Cloud development experience and system administration.
- ✅ Proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL, Web Services, jQuery, React, VS Code, GitHub, SQL Server, etc.
- ✅ Strong knowledge of designing Architecture Diagrams and Data flows.
- ✅ Strong understanding of e-commerce architecture, lifecycle development, cloud-based solutions, integration patterns, and best practices.
- ✅ Experience implementing large-scale e-commerce solutions, including enterprise architecture, ERP integration, a robust services layer, payment providers, etc.
- ✅ Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
- ✅ Knowledge of End-to-End Order Management lifecycle.
- ✅ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
- ✅ Deep knowledge of using GIT and version control systems.
- ✅ Experience using task tracking and requirement tracking tools such as Jira preferred.
Qualifications
- 📌 Bachelor degree in engineering/computer science or equivalent.
- 📌 Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications (e.g., B2B Commerce Architect, SFCC Developer).
Nice to Have
- 📌 Working knowledge of Jenkins for continuous integration/deployment and test automation.
- 📌 Familiarity with Docker.
