About the role
Our customer is a prominent e-commerce agency in Europe delivering advanced digital solutions to mid-sized and enterprise-level businesses. Their portfolio boasts an array of projects with distinguished brands in the energy, health, fashion, and beauty sectors.
As a Magento Web Developer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering team responsible for developing and optimizing the technical aspects of our client's e-commerce platforms.
Responsibilities
- 🚀 Develop scalable ecommerce solutions following best practices and industry standards.
- 🚀 Participate towards the conception of the technical solutions based on client's requirements.
- 🚀 Suggest enhancements for client-specific solutions.
- 🚀 Contribute to internal initiatives such as improving our development processes and solutions.
- 🚀 Effectively communicate with the project team regarding priorities, requirements, and status.
Requirements
- ✅ 4+ years of experience as a Magento Backend Developer.
- ✅ Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development.
- ✅ Up-to-date knowledge and expertise in PHP 7.x and 8.x, MySQL, Docker, ElasticSearch, REST & SOAP API integrations, payment gateways, Git or any other control version system.
- ✅ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
- ✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- ✅ Team player with a proactive attitude.
- ✅ Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize projects and tasks.
- ✅ Flexibility to adjust to new processes.
Nice to Have
- 📌 Magento Certification.
- 📌 Working knowledge of Jenkins for continuous integration/deployment and test automation.
- 📌 Familiarity with Docker.
